BIEL is equipped to hold large scale summits as well as smaller conferences either in the exhibition hall, the ballroom or the conference center.

BIEL was initially intended to host "Le 9ème Sommet de la Francophonie Beirut 2001" , (The 9th Francophon Summit Beirut 2001), one of the most prestigious summits in the world..
The summit included 60 heads of states and heads of delegations, 60 ministers, 128 members of the Lebanese parliament, 60 ambassadors and 2500 other attendees, including 500 members of the press, and other professionals, CEO's and VIP's.
